Жак Рафаел Ешкенази, Алфред Давид Криспин/Jacques Rafael Eskenazi, Alfred David Krispin - автори Alfred Krispin превод от бълг оригинал Judaica Bulgarica "Jews in the Bulgarian Hinterland" is an annotated bibliography which contains 1926 separate descriptions, 999 of which are of books, pamphlets and official publications from the 1878 Liberation to the present day. Materials from the specialised Bulgarian press during the 1994-1998 period, as well as some carefully selected Bulgarian dailies and weeklies have been included. "Jews in the Bulgarian Hinterland" is the product of triennial labours that could prove helpful to researchers of both Jewish and Bulgarian history in finding their way through a thicket of writings that are not widely known and could lead scholars to untapped sources. "Jews in the Bulgarian Hinterland" is part of the research project "Ancestral Memory and Historical Destiny of the Bulgarian Jews" co-ordinated by Emmy Barouh and subsidised by the Open Society Foundation, the International Centre for Minority Studies and Intercultural Relations, the Free and Democratic Bulgaria Foundation, the Centre for Liberal Strategies, the Organization of the Jews in Bulgaria "Shalom". The project was implemented under the aegis of the B'nai B'rith Lodge Carmel in Sofia. JACQUES RAFAEL ESKENAZI is a senior research associate in the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" National Library. Doctor of Philology. Engaged in history of books, bibliometrics, bibliography and theory of literature. Author of academic papers on these topics in Bulgarian and foreign publications. ALFRED DAVID KRISPIN is a journalist - focusing on international reporting. Graduated in Law and Journalism. A many-year reporter, editor, foreign correspondent and editor-in-chief in the Bulgarian News Agency. Author of book with socio-economic analyses. Translator of English book on similar topics. He is the first President of the B'nai B'rith Lodge "Carmel" reestablished in 1992.
