Ever since 1974, a Bulgarian exhibition, named most frequently The Thracian Gold, regularly attracts numerous visitors to various museums of the world. This book is composed on the occasion of the Eight International Congress on Thracology in Sofia and Yambol, Bulgaria, September 25-29, 2000. It is the academic achievement of a small team that worked under the appointment and with the support of the International Foundation Europa Antiqua. The Fondation supports projects that aim to search, encounter and substantiate the multicultural getting closer and the relationship between men and people in establishing the foundations of modern Europe.
